Imagine the lights of a huge Christmas tree rivalling with the glistening tiles of the Golden Roof, the aroma of freshly made ‘Kiachln’ (piping hot doughnuts laced with Sauerkraut or jam) wafting through the lanes and dusk slowly falling to the sound of Christmas carols drifting down from the alcove balcony of the Golden Roof.
